Casa Adele is a small, family-run holiday home. We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and host your stay, we do not sell it, and we keep it no longer than we have to. This page explains what that means in practice.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is the owner of Casa Adele, Via Pietro Tiboni 18, 25010 Tremosine sul Garda (BS), Italy. For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us on WhatsApp at +39 347 078 4741.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us. Through the booking request form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the dates you are interested in, the number of guests and pets, and anything you write in the message field. For confirmed stays, we also receive the identity documents sent via WhatsApp before arrival. Through the contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or profiling tools of any kind on this site.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We use your data for three things only:
- To reply to your enquiry and agree the terms of a stay — pre-contractual and contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To meet the obligations of an accommodation provider, including guest registration with the Italian authorities and tourist tax and accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To defend a legal claim, should one ever arise (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who else sees it
Your data is handled by the family who runs the house. Beyond that, it may be processed by our email provider, our web host, and — where the law requires it — our accountant and the public authorities responsible for guest registration and tourist tax. None of them may use it for their own purposes. Documents sent through WhatsApp are also processed by that service under its own privacy policy.
This page embeds a map from Google Maps. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, governed by Google's privacy policy rather than this one. We receive nothing from it.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not become a booking is deleted within 12 months. Data relating to a stay is kept for the period Italian tax and accommodation law requires, which is currently 10 years for accounting records.
Where it is stored
Our email and hosting providers store data within the European Economic Area. Where a provider transfers data outside it, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us at any time for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, for its use to be restricted, or for it to be sent to you or another provider in a portable format. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Contact us on WhatsApp at +39 347 078 4741 and we will reply within one month. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies you may receive come from the embedded Google map described above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
